To whom ever filmed the Broadway touring cast production of Spring Awakening and then put it on youtube
On principle I must tell you that you are awful and should have done that. Bad bad you.
On a private note: THANK YOU <3
Goodbye music
I am recording a CD or me singing all of my favorite ballads/ songs (but mostly ballads) that I have never found an excuse to sing. I am going to then give this CD to my parents as a goodbye present because I am moving away after this next year. So far this is my set list:
Flight- Craig Cornelia (male duet with a friend of mine, I will be taking the upper part)
Left Behind- Spring Awakening
Not a Day Goes By- Merrily We Roll Along (yes I know this is a women’s solo)
Send in The Clowns- A Little Night music (…again, I know :P)
Once Upon a Time- Bare: A Pop Opera
Empty Chairs- Les Miserable
Hallelujah- Shrek version
Beautiful City- Godspell (2011 revival version)
Gute Nacht- from Schubert’s Winterreise (my mom’s favorite classical song that I have done)
I am also considering:
Role of a Lifetime- Bare: A Pop Opera
Go the Distance- Hercules
Dispensable- EDGES
I’m Alive- N2N
Hunter Parrish - “Beautiful City” from Godspell on Broadway (by BwayGodspell)
Excuse me while I cry about my Godspell feels.

A Quiet Night At Home
There are very few songs that make me wish I was a woman (not that being a woman is bad in any way of looking at it, but I just really love male solos). There are a lot of songs that make we wish I hadn’t been born with skin as pasty white as beluga whale; but if I had been born a woman, I would sing this song every night. I just can’t stand how beautiful it is. The pure emotion of it. The mix of self-image problems, and God’s love, and never understanding what it is like to be like everyone else. I think most people can relate to that. We all know what it is like to feel lonely sometimes. And what it feel like to think that there is nothing we can do to help ourselves, because we should be confident, and we should love ourselves. But it is hard sometimes when the people around you give you no reason to be optimistic. Anyway, the song is wonderful and truly powerful… to me anyway.
P.S. there is dialogue before the song in the video, so the song starts at about 1:24 ish.
Peter from Bare: A Pop Opera is now officially on my list of dream roles. This is him singing a song with his mother in the show:
That song kills me inside. But yes, he and I are the same voice range, same body type, and certainly have very similar emotional backgrounds. I love this character and one day I really hope to be able to play him :)
I literally cannot stop listening to rock opera musical soundtracks.
Some people might say I have a problem.
I like to think I am passionate. :)
Neil Patrick Harris makes the Tony Awards wonderful :)
His opening number was so funny!
Matt Doyle - “Run Away With Me” by Kerrigan/Lowdermilk (by FamousInNY)
If I were ever to propose to someone. I think I would sing this song to them. I dunno. Maybe not. But I like the idea :)

My audition songs for wednesday :)
on that one I am only doing the second verse to the end. No intro, because my songs can only be so long
That one is exactly the part that I will perform.
Music Time
I Must and will have the following songs memorized, blocked, and polished by monday.
Tony’s solo in “Tonight” from “West Side Story”
Rapunzel’s Prince’s part in “Agony” and “Agony Reprise” from “Into the Woods”
“I’m Calm” from “A Funny Thing That Happened On The Way To The Forum”
“It Must Be So” from “Candide”
Also Chorus parts from each of those shows.
I would also like to have “Empty Chairs At Empty Tables” from “Les Miserables” ready to go, But that one is just for me and not for performance :)
Not to mention I really need to get back to working on my “Winterreise” by Schubert… I love it so much.
Wish me luck :)
THANK YOU. Faith in humanity restored. Now off to see a production of Hairspray. :)
No One Is Alone by Bernadette Peters (by EricMChicago)
It’s that time of the night when I just want to sing. But I will let Bernadette do it for me tonight :)
