My audition songs for wednesday :)
on that one I am only doing the second verse to the end. No intro, because my songs can only be so long
That one is exactly the part that I will perform.
Okay.
So I have an audition in Seattle in two weeks. I have to choose two contrasting musical numbers to perform one contemporary, and one classic Broadway. That will be easy.
The problem is not in the audition, but in getting cast. If I were to get cast I would have to move to seattle for about a term and do at least one class at a school there, with out of state tuition. Financially it really doesn’t seem too practical. I would get a morning job there and a friend and I would split rent on an apartment (she is also auditioning).
Basically I just wanted to talk about it because I am so scared right now. On one hand I want to get cast, but on the other I know it would be easier for me if I don’t get cast.
Thoughts?
