Eating meat is not a “lifestyle choice,” it is the deliberate disregard and abuse of any creature that you don’t personally deem worthy of living. When people don’t deem other people worthy of living, we throw them in prison. When people decide that entire species aren’t worthy of living and kill them by the billion, we call it culture. Meat can never be “humane” no matter how well the animal is treated or how painlessly it dies, because at the end of the day you are still deciding wether or not they have the right to live. And that is not our choice to make.
